Cottage for the Kids Golf Tournament
Tuesday, June 2
Smoke Rise Country Club
Proceeds from the Cottage for the Kids Golf Tournament benefit The Home Depot Marcus Hospitality Cottage on the campus of the Atlanta Hospital Hospitality House (AHHH). Marcus Autism Center has partnered with the AHHH and The Home Depot to develop this cottage for children and their families who need a place to stay while traveling to Atlanta for treatment at Marcus Autism Center or other local hospitals.
Funds from the tournament will provide maintenance for the cottage, including utilities, insurance, services and food. The cottage is energy-efficient, handicap-accessible and has four family suites and a kitchen in a safe, comfortable environment. The facility is managed by AHHH and provides guests with hearty, home-cooked dinners every night.
Last year the Cottage provided over 700 lodging days. When you play golf with us you’re supporting a partnership between non-profit organizations: the AHHH, Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta and the Marcus Autism Center that work together to help children with autism and their families. We are proud of the role that we play in the health and care of kids and their families.
